International Expansion Manager

Your mission
As an International Expansion Manager at uButler, you will have the opportunity to oversee the multi-layered set-up process of our digital relocation service in a foreign country. As a result of this promising responsibility, it is seen as integral for the job that you are a capable communicator with experience in interdepartmental communication, as well as a natural talent for organized leadership.
What you'll be doing
  • Establishing, organizing, tracking, and monitoring the set-up of our digital relocation service in a foreign country.
  • Leading a team through market research and analysis of the services we need.
  • Ensure a clear understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements for the intended markets and associated services we intend to incorporate
  • Updating the management team on project estimations with the information you find on a regular basis. 
  • Helping to create and build new contacts with stakeholders in the respective countries of expansion. 
  • Working closely together with the Program manager to ensure the timing and requirements fit into the Global Road Map.
  • Communicating with and between the departments of the organization, as well as with the key suppliers, vendors and distributors. 
  • Planning and executing the international roll-out of our digital relocation service, identifying markets and opportunities, establishing relevant partnerships, and being able to go from “insight to action”.
What we’re looking for
  • 3-5 years of professional work experience
  • Bachelor’s or M.Sc degree
  • Living in Amsterdam or surrounding area
  • International experience or experience from previous sales roles
  • Positive spirit, high energy and the ability to think outside the box
  • A team player that can work independently and take their own responsibility
  • Experience with conducting research and/or market analyses
  • Comfortable with meeting people (possibly online) and making new network connections
  • Capturing knowledge associated with these new markets, for future reference
